Gift of Family Photos in San Diego

Over a year ago a super nice father at the preschool my daughter went to approached me to take some family photos as a gift for his wife’s birthday. I had volunteered at the preschool for their fall festival taking pictures of all the kids in attendance. The family was simply adorable, but the two year old wanted nothing to do with getting her photo taken. We ended up playing a game of hide and seek for about 15 minutes with the camera. I wasn’t going to give up. It became a game to me. I was able to surprise her, and grab a fantastic image. That interaction is one that will stick with me forever. After a long wait, and a few weather delays we ended up getting together right around the new year for some family portraits on the beach in Del Mar. The whole family was an active bunch, and the kids just loved to play with their parents. We had a great afternoon together, and I am so happy to have captured these moments to preserve this time in the story of their lives.
