Went out looking at Christmas lights last night

Shot at ISO 16000, yes, not 1600 but 16000…. Oh how I love my new camera. It can do things I wasn't able to do before. Opening up new shooting situations. Ahhh. Anyway, just a candid of my daughter watching a light show to music that happens to be on you tube as well… (They even advertise it!) #blog

San Diego Color Run Photos by Erika Thornes

So, today, we went to the Color Run at Qualcomm Stadium. I used my EWA Marine underwater case, and had a blast getting covered in Colored Chalk. The run was more of a walk/jog but it was good. I’d happily do it again. Such a great event to shoot. I took some pictures of people while I was out on the run. Learning To Type

My daughter giggled for about 20 minutes when I took a sharpie to her hand… But, it worked. She's learning to type. Shot with the Canon 40mm 2.8 pancake lens on the 5D Mark II. I Adore this lens.

Getting Excited

Today is the last day of school. Summer vacation!!!! My little girl is growing up and will be going to Kindergarten in the fall. She was hoping today was her first day of school, as yesterday was her last day of preschool.
